Blairdardie

Blairdardie.is an area of Glasgow which  is situated in the North West of the city . The main A82 "Great Western Road" runs right through the middle creating a South Blairdardie and North Blairdardie.  The Forth and Clyde canal seperates Blairdardie from Knightswood. and the canal has recently been upgraded to allow small vessels to travel from Falkirk in the east to Bowling in the west. 

Blairdardie has two primary schools and has a local sports pavillion and recreation centre.

Blairdardie is surrounded by Old Drumchapel, Drumchapel, Yoker, Peterson Park and Knightswood.   This area has many local businesses that thrive on the support of the local people.
